Length


: 13 weeks

Rotating Shifts Required: Yes, for Day Rotate, (7a-7p, 11a-11p, 7p-7a). No more than 2-3 shifts per time block and typically not for more than 1 or 2 time blocks (4 week blocks).

Requirements:

• 
  MA License
  
  



• 
  2 years minimum of inpatient adult psych experience
  
  



• 
  
  
  
  
  Proficient in using automatic medication dispensing system (Omni Cell); proficient in the use of psychotropic medications and side effects
  
  
  
  
  



• 
  
  
  
  
  Able to assume the role of charge nurse; able to complete admissions and discharges.
  
  
  
  
  



• 
  
  
  
  
  Competent in the use of IV pumps and care of diabetic patients
  
  
  
  
  



• 
  AHA BLS
