This role is pivotal in delivering cost optimization, supplier performance, and process scalability to supportShipBob’srapid growth.This personwill work closely with key stakeholders (both internal and external) to develop effective cost reduction strategies and implementation plans. This role reports to the Sr. Director, Procurement. Whatyou’lldo: Buildsolidpartnerships acrossall business unitstoidentifyand prioritize sourcingopportunitiesand projects. Steercross-functional sourcing effortsand execute plans that align with businessobjectives. Providedata-driven insights, market intelligence, and feedback to influence sourcing strategies and vendor engagements. Adviseall business units on best methods to achieve desired sourcing outcomes, withabilityto clearly understand and articulate needsand successful outcomes. Activelyseekto improveprocurement processesfor agility andscalability. Overseechange managementinitiativesrequiredto implementprocessimprovementseffectively. Manage vendor relationships, ensuringoptimalongoingcosts, service levels, long termvalueandrisk mitigation. Review, redline, and negotiate contractual agreements across all categories ensuringfavorable termsandmitigating unnecessary risks. DevelopRFx documentation andplans andoverseeassessment and selectionas a result ofcomprehensiveanalysis, including in some cases build vs buy decisions. Work with compliance teamsforShipBob’sSOX, GMP, GFSI, SOCIIand otherregulatoryrequirements. Use data analytics, industrybenchmarkingand strategic sourcing methodologies to develop and execute sourcing strategiesandidentifysavings and/or value addingopportunities. Additional duties and responsibilities as necessary. Whatyou’llbring to the table: Minimum 7years of experience in Indirect Procurement, ideally withinafast-movingstartup environment and across multiple categories. Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field. High EQ and interpersonal skills.An expert communicator who canspan various stakeholder skillsetsand backgrounds to clearly articulate needs to manage projectstosuccessful outcomes. Demonstratedtrack recordof cost savingsanddriving procurement innovation and change. Ability to thrive in a dynamic, high-growth environment and manage ambiguity. Solidproblem solving, analytical and project management skills,withabilitytorunmultiple projects simultaneouslyin complex situations. Soundnegotiation skills. Excellent English communication, both written and oral. Ability to cover core US hours, with adeep understanding of US market dynamics, contract terms, coststructuresand supplier landscape. Proficiencyin Microsoft Office Suite; experience withP2Pplatforms such asZipHQpreferred. The full base pay range for this position in our compensation architecture is $ 99,150 - $ 165,250 . In addition to base salary, this role includes the opportunity to be eligible for participation in the Company's discretionary bonus plan based on Company's plans and  in accordance with  Company’s policies.
