Traveling PT / Physical Therapist

Responsibilities Assess patients in inpatient or outpatient facilities and customize treatment plans tailored to their unique needs. Implement therapeutic interventions centered on mobility enhancement, strength building, balance improvement, and functional recovery. Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team, including nurses, doctors, case managers, and rehabilitation specialists, to facilitate optimal patient outcomes. Guide patients and their families through therapeutic objectives, discharge processes, and appropriate home exercises. Maintain comprehensive records of evaluations, treatment plans, and progress according to regulatory and facility standards. Engage actively in care team discussions and interdisciplinary meetings to ensure cohesive and coordinated care. Qualifications A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or an equivalent accredited degree. Validation of state licensure as a Physical Therapist. CPR certification is preferred. Specialized certifications (e.g., in geriatrics or neurology) are advantageous but not mandatory. Strong preference for previous clinical experience. Expertise in managing complex medical conditions and mobility challenges. Excellent communication skills and a collaborative spirit. Proficiency in digital patient documentation and clinical systems.
