Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Labor & Delivery team. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive care to patients during labor and delivery. Our facility is not a trauma center and hosts a Level One Nursery, focusing on stable deliveries and appropriate transfers for high-risk births.

Responsibilities

• Provide antepartum and postpartum care to patients.
• Monitor patients throughout labor and delivery ensuring adherence to safety and health protocols.
• Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to create patient-centered care plans.
• Receive neonates from the sterile field during C-sections, ensuring proper protocols are followed.
• Maintain patient records using the Cerner charting system.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current Registered Nurse license.
• Certifications in Advanced Fetal Monitoring, BLS, and NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program).
• Experience in Labor & Delivery is preferred.
