Fundamentals Clinical Faculty (Part‑Time) – Manchester, NH Part‑time Department: Faculty Opportunity at a Glance You are invited to become a Part‑Time Visiting Professor, inspiring motivated nursing students to realize their educational and career goals in a flexible schedule. You will receive excellent compensation, mentorship, and significant career growth opportunities. Teaching Schedule On‑site clinical teaching at one of our clinical partners. Most commonly 12‑hour rotations (7 a.m. – 7 p.m.) for three to four consecutive days. Fundamental Nursing Skills Content focuses on health promotion and rehabilitative patient care. Students provide direct patient care while implementing the nursing process. Responsibilities Implement the College's philosophy, curriculum, program outcomes, and course objectives through clinical teaching. Assume responsibility for all autonomous aspects of individual teaching loads. Plan clinical experiences, supervise and evaluate nursing students delivering nursing care. Provide self‑available support to staff at agencies. Evaluate and provide documented feedback to students based on course objectives. Remediate students as required. Maintain knowledge of agency/clinical policies, procedures, and expectations. Develop and post written clinical assignments aligned with student knowledge and competency. Return graded homework, quizzes, tests, labs, and clinical paperwork in a timely manner. Contribute to the ongoing development and evaluation of the programs and the College. Teach didactic course content under the supervision of the course coordinator. Keep the course coordinator informed of all student and agency issues. Work with college administration to improve overall operation and student satisfaction. Participate in the College Assessment Program, campus retention efforts, and departmental policies. Serve as a professional role model in customer service, collaboration, communication, excellence, and professionalism. Use relationship skills for group problem solving and negotiation. Comply with all applicable regulatory rules and standards. Report to the dean or assistant dean; the course coordinator will provide direct oversight. Handle related duties as assigned, including other duties required by position. Comply with all policies and standards. Qualifications A master’s or doctoral degree in Nursing from a regionally accredited institution. An unencumbered professional nursing license in the state of New Hampshire. At least two years of professional experience within the last five years in an instructional role as a registered nurse. Teaching or precepting experience (preferred but not required). Genuine passion for nursing, education, and lifelong learning. Exceptional subject matter expertise and excellent written and verbal communication skills. Eager to serve students and colleagues with respect and care. Sense of responsibility and purpose, desire to enrich community. Illinois RN license required to teach all courses (course assignments prioritized to professors licensed in Illinois). Compensation The expected compensation for this position ranges from $1,120 to $7,245 per assignment, based on education and experience.
