Trial Attorney

Job Overview A law firm seeks an experienced Trial Attorney to join its team in New Haven, Connecticut. The attorney will manage a diverse and complex caseload, including slip and fall, security negligence, wrongful death, and animal attack cases, from pre-litigation through trial. Duties Handle pre-litigation and litigation cases daily. Draft and file litigation documents, including pleadings and motions. Guide clients through the legal process. Interact with expert witnesses and draft reports. Prepare for and attend depositions, mediations, and court appearances. Requirements Law degree from an accredited institution. Active member in good standing with the State Bar Association in CT. Minimum of 3 years of personal injury experience. Ability to manage a high volume of cases. Excellent client service and communication skills. Self-starter with long-term career goals. Superior writing and oral advocacy skills. Education Juris Doctor (JD) degree. Certifications Bar admission in Connecticut. Skills Strong litigation and trial preparation skills. Effective communication and client management. Proficient in legal research and document drafting.
