LUB Nutrition Packaging OperatorLeprino Lubbock is seeking a Nutrition Packaging Operator. The Packaging Operator is responsible for the safe operation of the whey bagging line. All other duties as assigned. This position pays $23.65 per hour. There is an additional $1 differential for hours worked between 6pm and 6am. Weekly pay.Job Duties:Responsible for the safe operation of whey bagging equipment and its associated processes, including monitoring whey powder quality, packaged product quality, completing hourly scale and metal detector checks, and reconciling bag and pallet weights.Participate in and implement continuous improvementComplete paperwork and computer data tracking timely and accuratelyTroubleshoot all equipment and identify potential problems in order to maintain product specificationsCommunicate effectively with co-workers, team leads, and supervisorsFollow sanitation procedures of all equipment at shutdownComplete assigned GMP and housekeeping duties as requiredPerform work in a safe manner by following safety procedures and policies, critical safety rules, and expected standard conductEnsure product meets food safety, regulatory, and quality requirements by following the Food Safety Plan, Quality Plan, and company policiesYou Have At Least (Required Qualifications):Must be 18 years oldMust be able to speak, read, write, and comprehend basic English languageAbility to evaluate and identify mechanical conditions and make adjustments or corrective action as necessaryAbility to access elevated work areas such as climbing ladders/stairsBasic math skills to be able to perform mathematical functionsAbility to understand and apply standard operating proceduresAbility to maintain clean work area according to good manufacturing processesGood communication skills to communicate with co-workers and oncoming/outgoing shiftsWe Hope You Have (Preferred Qualifications):Six months of work experience in a manufacturing environment; experience in machine operation and troubleshooting in a manufacturing environment are preferredWork Environment Description:Must be able to lift moderate weights repeatedly throughout the shift weighing up to 50lbs.Required to stand/walk, climb steps or ladders, bend at the knees, make pipe connections, lift equipment parts throughout the shift and must have the ability to work in hot, humid, and cold areasLeprino Foods celebrates and supports diversity.
