Construction Precon Manager/Sr. Estimator

Job Description

Prepare detailed cost estimates for construction projects, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
Collaborate with project teams to develop budgets and schedules that align with client expectations.
Review project specifications, drawings, and contracts to assess scope and requirements.
Identify potential cost-saving opportunities and provide value engineering recommendations.
Maintain strong relationships with subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
Analyze project risks and develop strategies to mitigate potential issues during the preconstruction phase.
Participate in client meetings and presentations to communicate project plans and cost estimates effectively.
Stay up to date with industry trends, materials, and construction techniques to ensure competitive and accurate estimates.

The Successful Applicant

Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and techniques within the property industry.
Proficiency in preparing detailed cost estimates and budgets.
Ability to interpret project drawings, specifications, and contracts with precision.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with clients and team members.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
Proficiency in relevant construction estimation software and tools.
