General Pediatrics Primary Care - Clinical Assistant/Associate/Full Professor

The Department of Pediatrics at the University of Florida is seeking a board-certified/eligible pediatrician at the Clinical Assistant/Associate/Professor level to pursue a non-tenure track career in the Division of General Pediatrics. This position will provide clinical services to patients seen in the General Pediatrics Primary Care clinics and Shands Teaching Hospitals, as well as teaching residents and students from the College of Medicine (e.g. medical students, physician assistant students). Primary responsibilities center on providing Pediatric Primary Care in our ambulatory locations and in the newborn nursery, with secondary after-hours outpatient care in the Pediatrics After Hours clinic. To support after-hours services for pediatric patients, clinical responsibilities may occur in the evenings (after 5:00 p.m.) and on weekends.

The Department of Pediatrics is committed to fostering innovation and advancing discovery in the biomedical and psychosocial aspects of child health and human development, educating and training pediatric scientists, and directly translating basic scientific discoveries into new patient-oriented therapies. Required Qualifications: Applicants must have an M.D. or equivalent degree, be licensed in or eligible for licensure in the State of Florida and be board-certified/board-eligible in Pediatrics.
