Entry - Level Diesel Mechanic

Entry-Level Diesel Mechanic Commercial Trucks & Heavy Equipment Schedule: 11 am – 8 pm Monday through Friday Required: Ability to work overtime and Saturdays during peak season as needed Lester Brothers Excavation, Inc. is looking for a dependable, mechanically inclined individual to join our team as an Entry-Level Diesel Mechanic. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to build a long-term career working on commercial trucks and heavy equipment. You’ll assist with basic maintenance and preventative service on our fleet while learning from experienced mechanics in a fast-paced construction and trucking environment. Responsibilities Oil changes and preventative maintenance Greasing, fluid checks, and filter replacements Inspecting trucks and equipment for safety concerns Assisting with basic repairs and shop tasks Keeping the shop and work areas clean and organized Supporting senior mechanics with maintenance and repairs Requirements Mechanically inclined with willingness to learn Valid driver’s license with good motor vehicle record Must have or be willing to obtain a Chauffeur’s License Listening skills and the ability to receive constructive feedback Dependable with good attendance Able to perform physical work and lift 50+ lbs.
