Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN)

We are seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. The ideal candidate will deliver high-quality patient care in a fast-paced emergency room environment.

Shift Notes

• 12-hour Afternoon/Night shifts
• 36 hours per week guaranteed

Weekend Requirements

The Registered Nurse will be required to work every other weekend, and holidays as needed.

Job Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients in the Emergency Room, assessing their conditions and planning appropriate interventions.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes to healthcare providers.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
• Demonstrate commitment to professional growth and development.

Requirements

• 3+ years of current Emergency Room experience.
• Experience with Meditech Expanse is highly preferred.
• Must possess a valid Massachusetts RN license.
• Active certifications including BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC are required.
• Must have a reliable vehicle for travel if required.
• Ability to work during major holidays and weekends as outlined.
• Willingness to undergo an 8-hour non-billable orientation.
