Cardiac Ultrasound Technician
Location: Tahlequah, OK
Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Cardiac Ultrasound Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for a range of essential duties, including:
• Preparing and updating patients’ medical records.
• Ensuring proper sterilization and maintenance of lab examination tools and equipment.
• Preparing patients for ultrasound examinations and explaining procedures while addressing their inquiries.
• Operating ultrasound and plethysmography equipment effectively.
• Performing sonographic examinations to develop vascular images.
• Applying ultrasound gel appropriately to the required areas.
• Programming and adjusting scanners to capture comprehensive images.
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM
Requirements:
• Current AHA BLS certification
• RDCS registration
• Minimum of 1 year of experience
• Familiarity with Cerner Charting
• Experience with adult echocardiograms and bubble studies is a bonus
• Gray scrubs required
