Key Responsibilities:
- Electrical System Design and Development: Lead the design, analysis, and implementation of complex electrical systems, ensuring solutions are efficient, innovative, and compliant with regulatory standards.
- Technical Leadership and Support: Provide guidance and technical support to junior engineers and cross-functional teams, fostering a collaborative and knowledge-sharing environment.
- Quality Assurance: Review, approve, and validate electrical drawings, plans, and specifications to ensure accuracy and quality. Identify opportunities for improvement and drive solutions.
- Interdisciplinary Coordination: Collaborate with other engineering disciplines to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems with other project components.
- System Monitoring and Troubleshooting: Oversee the performance of electrical systems post-implementation, proactively addressing any issues and ensuring reliability and longevity.
- Professional Development: Stay informed on industry trends, regulatory changes, and technological advancements to continually refine processes and recommend best practices.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Licensure: Active Professional Engineer (PE) license is required.
- Experience: A minimum of 10 years in electrical engineering, with proven expertise in system design, implementation, and troubleshooting.
- Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in ETAP software is required, with strong knowledge of electrical design principles and safety regulations.
- Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively lead teams, present complex concepts, and interact with cross-functional teams.
- Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving capabilities, with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing challenges.
