Key Personnel is seeking a Production Manager for a company in the Tulsa, OK area.

Production Manager Pay: $50,000–$100,000/year DOE

Production Manager Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm

Production Manager Responsibilities:

• Supervise, lead, and support a team of 5–6 production employees to ensure daily operational goals are achieved
• Coordinate daily production schedules and assign workloads to maximize efficiency and productivity
• Track, manage, and follow up on incoming job leads and production opportunities
• Schedule, prioritize, and monitor production work orders to ensure on-time completion
• Oversee workflow throughout the production process and address scheduling conflicts or bottlenecks as they arise
• Ensure all jobs are completed according to quality standards, customer requirements, and company expectations
• Communicate effectively with internal departments, customers, and vendors regarding project status, timelines, and production needs
• Monitor production performance metrics and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, throughput, and resource utilization
• Assist in developing and implementing process improvements and continuous improvement initiatives
• Maintain compliance with company policies, procedures, and workplace safety standards
• Train, mentor, coach, and evaluate team members to support employee development and performance
• Collaborate with management to support operational goals, production planning, and business growth initiatives
• Maintain accurate production records, schedules, and reporting documentation

Production Manager Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field preferred
• Previous experience in manufacturing, production, operations, or a related environment required
• Prior supervisory, leadership, or team management experience preferred
• Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple projects simultaneously
• Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced production environment
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Experience utilizing production scheduling, ERP, MRP, or production tracking systems preferred
• Ability to work collaboratively across departments and build positive working relationships
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and operational excellence

Work Environment:

• Manufacturing and production facility environment
• Frequent interaction with production staff, management, vendors, and customers
• Fast-paced environment requiring strong leadership and organizational skills
• Regular use of computers, production software, and office equipment

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to move throughout the production facility as needed
• Ability to stand, walk, and perform inspections of production areas for extended periods
• Ability to occasionally lift up to 25 lbs.
• Ability to operate standard office equipment and computer systems
• Ability to visually inspect production activities and review production documentation
