Job Title: Product Assembler
Job Description
The Product Assembler works on a new, multi-station production line to build, test, and package finished products. This role involves assembling components, using hand and power tools such as drills and torque wrenches, performing basic testing procedures, and preparing completed products for shipment. The position requires attention to detail, the ability to follow technical instructions, and comfort working on your feet throughout the shift.
Responsibilities
Work on a six-station production line, completing 2–3 specific steps of the assembly process at your assigned station.
Assemble components by fitting and securing parts according to work instructions, blueprints, and schematics.
Use hand and power tools, including drills and torque wrenches, to secure parts to specified torque or fastening requirements.
Perform electrical assembly tasks such as wiring, crimping, and soldering when required by the station.
Read and interpret basic blueprints and electrical schematics to ensure accurate assembly.
Operate the final testing station by connecting completed assemblies and running go/no-go tests to verify product functionality.
Identify and report any defects, nonconformities, or test failures to the appropriate team member or supervisor.
Package and palletize completed products after they pass testing, ensuring they are properly labeled and prepared for shipment.
Use an iPad or similar device to access work instructions, record production data, and navigate basic production or quality applications.
Follow all safety procedures and guidelines while working with tools, equipment, and electrical components.
Maintain a clean, organized workstation and support overall line cleanliness and 5S practices.
Stand and move along the production line for 8–10 hours per day as needed to meet production goals.
Collaborate with team members across all stations to maintain a smooth and efficient workflow.
Essential Skills
At least 1 year of assembly experience in a manufacturing or similar hands-on production environment.
At least 1 year of experience using a drill or torque wrench in an assembly setting.
Ability to read and follow basic blueprints and schematics.
Experience with electrical assembly tasks such as wiring, crimping, and soldering.
Ability to stand and work on your feet for 8–10 hours per day.
Ability to safely lift and handle items up to 20 pounds.
Basic proficiency using an iPad or similar tablet device to navigate applications and follow digital work instructions.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow step-by-step procedures accurately.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, production-line environment.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience working on multi-station or conveyor-based assembly lines.
Comfort working with both mechanical and electrical components.
Familiarity with go/no-go testing methods or basic product testing procedures.
Strong teamwork and communication skills to coordinate with other stations on the line.
Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement in a manufacturing environment.

Work Environment
This role is based in a first-shift schedule, typically from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. The facility is extremely clean, well lit, organized, and fully climate controlled, creating a comfortable and professional manufacturing environment. The production floor uses standard assembly tools such as drills, torque wrenches, and testing equipment, and employees use iPads or similar tablets to access work instructions and record data. The building features a state-of-the-art cafeteria, and soda and water are provided at no cost to employees. The dress code requires jeans, steel-toe boots, and a t-shirt without obscene graphics, ensuring both safety and practicality on the production floor.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
