STNA/CNA/NA (Per Diem)

The STNA/CNA/NA (Per Diem) is responsible for providing direct care and assistance to residents in an assisted living facility. This position requires a commitment to providing compassionate and high-quality care in a supportive environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Monitor residents' vital signs and report any changes to the appropriate staff.
• Assist with meal preparation and feeding residents as needed.
• Provide companionship and support to residents.
• Ensure residents' rooms are clean and organized.
• Assist with transfers and ambulation as needed.
• Document resident care and observations accurately.
• Follow facility policies and procedures.
• Participate in staff meetings and in-service training.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Current STNA, CNA, or NA certification.
• Experience working in an assisted living or long-term care facility preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Compassionate and patient demeanor.
• Ability to lift and transfer residents.

Physical Demands

• Ability to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods of time.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy objects.
• Ability to perform repetitive motions.

Work Environment

• Exposure to infectious diseases.
• Exposure to unpleasant odors.
• Work in a fast-paced environment.
