Job Description

An industry leading multi-disciplinary team is looking for a Transportation Engineer for their Columbus team! Responsibilities include: Design/develop various types of roadway/highway improvement projects, develop horizontal/vertical roadway/highway alignments, design modeling, and engineering calculations, perform all aspects of roadway/highway design (drainage design, maintenance of traffic, pavement marking/striping and signing), prepare preliminary/detailed design plans, quantities, specifications, and construction cost estimates, use technical expertise for the development, evaluation, selection, and modification of standards engineering techniques/procedures, occasional client and sub-consultant communication, site visits periodically, assist with Request for Information during construction phase.

Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, 7+ years of experience, PE License in Ohio or ability to obtain within six months, experience using AASHTO, ODOT Design Criteria, and FDOT Design Criteria, proficient in AutoCAD/Civil 3D, Microstation, and Geopak, experience using Open Roads preferred. Salary is commensurate with experience. Successful applicant must be authorized to work in the USA without sponsorship.
