Contract | Nights | 3×12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Labor and Delivery unit at a Magnet-designated acute care facility
• Maintain a 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratio in accordance with unit standards
• Document patient care accurately using Epic electronic health records system
• Float between like units as needed to support staffing demands
• Commit to working 3 of the 5 designated holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day

Required Qualifications

• Active, unencumbered California RN license (no pending licenses accepted; compact license must be in hand at time of submission)
• Minimum of 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience
• Required certifications: ACLS, BCLS, NRP, Advanced AWHONN, and LA Fire Card
• Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible as a standard traveler (locals may be considered under separate terms)
• All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted at the time of initial submission; post-submission RTO requests may not be granted
• 2 professional references covering at least 1 year of experience within the last 3 years required prior to start

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience working in a Magnet-designated facility
• Familiarity with Epic charting system
• Experience floating between similar units in a hospital setting
