Job Description
Title: Registered Nurse - Medical/Surgical

Schedule: Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM

Assignment Details:
- Contract Weeks: 13
- Guaranteed Hours: 36.00

Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN): Preferred
- Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice: Required
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor: Required
- AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS certification: Required
- At least two years recent experience in the field
- EPIC experience

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Deliver coordinated nursing care for patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process.
- Supervise and direct the activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff while coordinating care with other disciplines.
- Collect and analyze relevant health data to inform diagnosis and care planning.
- Implement care plans and evaluate progress toward achieving outcomes.
- Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure safe and effective care.
- Provide health information and education to patients and their families.

Compliance / Notes:
- All associates must receive required vaccinations as a condition of employment and annually thereafter, where applicable.
