Job Opportunity

Position: Registered Nurse (RN) - Level 3/Level 4 NICU

We are seeking compassionate and skilled Registered Nurses to join our Level 3/Level 4 Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) for a 13-week contract assignment. This position requires dedicated nursing professionals who are committed to providing exceptional care to critically ill newborns.

Shift Details

  • Shift: 07:00 AM - 07:00 PM
  • Call Requirements: None
  • Weekends: Required
Unit Information
  • Location: North Austin, TX
  • Number of Beds: 97
  • Staffing: 200 staff members, primarily RNs
  • Patient Ratios: 3-4 patients per RN
  • Equipment: Medfusion pumps, Alaris, Giraffe Incubators, GE monitors
  • EMR: CPN, Meditech
Job Requirements
  • Minimum Qualifications:

    • At least 2 years of Level 3 NICU experience
    • Current BLS and NRP certifications
  • Preferred Qualifications:

    • Experience as a travel RN
    • Familiarity with advanced NICU procedures

Dress Code

All staff are required to wear navy scrubs. Please note that artificial nails and nail polish are not permitted as part of the dress code.
