Location: Turlock, CA
Job Type: 2-Month Contract (Temp-to-Hire Opportunity)
Shift: 2nd Shift | Monday-Friday | 2:00 PM-10:30 PM

2nd Shift Production Operator - Manufacturing | Turlock, CA | Forklift & Feed Mill Experience Required

Sigma Inc. is seeking an experienced 2nd Shift Production Operator - Industrial to join a leading manufacturing facility in Turlock, CA . This is a temp-to-hire opportunity for candidates with forklift certification , feed mill experience , and a strong background in industrial manufacturing.

Shift Details

• 2nd Shift: Monday-Friday
• Hours: 2:00 PM-10:30 PM
• Overtime and occasional Saturdays may be required based on business needs

Key Responsibilities

• Operate heavy industrial production equipment safely and efficiently
• Meet daily production and quality goals
• Operate forklifts to transport raw materials and finished products
• Perform feed mill operations and material handling tasks
• Clean workstations and assigned production areas at the end of each shift
• Follow all plant safety procedures and wear required PPE
• Read and follow written and verbal work instructions
• Complete basic production documentation and computer data entry
• Assist with miscellaneous production assignments as directed by management
• Work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining productivity and quality standards

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Minimum 2 years of production or manufacturing experience
• Forklift certification required
• Feed mill experience required
• Experience operating heavy industrial equipment
• Basic computer and math skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work safely in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

Physical Requirements

• Lift and carry up to 50 pounds
• Stand, walk, bend, climb stairs, and climb ladders throughout the shift
• Work in confined spaces when necessary
• Comfortable working at heights greater than 5 feet
• Ability to work in hot, cold, dusty, and industrial environments
• Perform physically demanding tasks, including beating/poking bins and digging out dies
• Good visual acuity and ability to follow detailed instructions

Required PPE

• Steel Toe or Composite Toe Boots

Additional Requirements

• Must pass a background check
• Must be authorized to work in the United States
• Must be available for overtime and weekend work as required
• Reliable attendance and punctuality are essential
