Common Diagnoses: HIE/Cooling, CDH, NEC, respiratory distress/failure. Typical surgeries: gastroschesis, oomphaloceles, abdominal surgeries, myelomeningoceles, fresh trachs, g-tubes. Special Procedures/Unit Details : ****PASS 2 years Level 4 experience. May SCREEN for Level 3 experience if the level 3 is a surgery center*****Must be able to float to Pediatric ICU and Cardiothoracic ICU & Med Surg if hired for main campus within their scope of practice as well as NICU at other satellite locations. *Travelers will not be assigned patients over 2 years oldManager is looking for strong level 4 travelers that have experience with Surgical NICU patients. Satellite locations: Scripps HillcrestScripps La Jolla Scripps Encinitas Palomar Hospital Rancho Springs Must be flexible with 12 hour variable / rotations shifts; the schedule is published at the beginning of each month so the traveler will be on the same shift for the entire schedule. But when a new schedule is published they could rotate to the opposite shift they were on OR could even stay on the same shift. The managers do their best to accommodate the travelers shift preference but please let your travelers know they need to be flexible and would be expected to work days and nights within the 13 week contract. 12 D/N rotation/weekends/holidays and flexible with 12 hour variable shifts - days/nights are required. Must work 2 out of the 3 holidays.
