RN Supervisor

Role: RN Supervisor in a skilled nursing facility, overseeing unit activities, staff, and patient care. Responsibilities Organize, supervise, and coordinate nursing staff and unit operations. Monitor, observe, and document vital signs, treatments, and patient responses. Administer medications and treatments as needed. Communicate with team members, residents, families, and medical staff regarding care plans and concerns. Identify and respond appropriately to patient needs and emergencies. Perform resident assessments following incidents or condition changes. Lead emergency responses and maintain accurate documentation including staffing and census reports. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and external vendors/services. Implement disciplinary actions per policy. Qualifications & Skills Current RN license in New York with a good standing. Experience with geriatric, rehabilitation, or Alzheimer's patients preferred. Progressive nursing experience in a geriatric setting; supervisory experience is a plus. Strong commitment to providing compassionate, quality care. Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational, and customer service skills. Ability to work under pressure, remain flexible, and collaborate harmoniously with staff. Patience and willingness to assist residents and colleagues.
