Adecco is seeking detail-oriented Mechanical Assemblers to work with our client in Hollister, CA. In this role, you’ll work hands-on with advanced components and assemblies in a highly controlled environment. What You’ll Do

As a Mechanical Assembler, you will be responsible for a variety of production and assembly tasks, including:

• Perform assembly operations on components and subassemblies under direct supervision

• Weigh and press inert and energetic materials using specialized equipment

• Set up and operate analytical balances and powder presses

• Complete inert assembly processes with precision and attention to detail

• Conduct minor cabling, potting, tinning, soldering, and assembly work

• Install sub-assemblies and support final product builds

• Use drawings, visual aids, and written/verbal instructions to assemble, rework, or modify units

• Maintain strict adherence to safety protocols, especially in explosive handling environments

• Handle sensitive materials with care, ensuring compliance with all safety regulations

• Participate in offsite training (e.g., JSTD certification) as required

Work Environment

• Work is performed in explosive handling areas , requiring a strong commitment to safety and precision

• You’ll receive detailed instructions and ongoing support, especially for new assignments

What You Bring

Required:

• Ability to safely lift up to 50 lbs

• Basic English proficiency (reading, writing, and speaking)

• Strong manual dexterity and attention to detail

• Willingness to learn—we provide on-the-job training (OJT)

Preferred:

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Prior manufacturing or assembly experience

• Ability and flexibility to work overtime as needed

Pay Details: $22.00 to $23.00 per hour
