About the Role


We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) - Emergency Department (ED) for a 13-week contract opportunity in Aberdeen, Washington. The RN will provide comprehensive emergency nursing care to patients with varying levels of acuity while working collaboratively with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams.


Responsibilities

• Assess and triage Emergency Department patients and identify changes in clinical condition requiring immediate intervention.
• Provide direct emergency nursing care, treatments, medications, and other prescribed clinical interventions.
• Monitor patient response to treatment and communicate significant changes promptly to physicians and the healthcare team.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation and support safe transitions of care.
• Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary team members to deliver safe, patient-centered emergency care.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 Years of Recent Emergency Department Registered Nurse Experience Required.
• Current Washington Registered Nurse License or Active Multistate RN License Required; Approved 6-Hour Suicide Prevention Training and Nursys Demographic Verification Required.
• Current BLS and ACLS Certifications Required.
• Current PALS, TNCC, and NIHSS Certifications Required.
• Must Be Available for Night Shifts and Required Holiday Coverage; Meditech Experience Preferred.
