Production Assistant

HIRING IMMEDIATELY: PRODUCTION ASSISTANT IN CHICAGO, IL Accurate Personnel is hiring immediately for a Production Assistant to join our team in Chicago, Illinois. This individual will be responsible for supporting the daily operations of the manufacturing. The ideal candidate will possess a high school diploma or GED, basic math skills, and more listed below. Pay, Schedule, and Location Starting at $23/hour Excellent benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision Full time hours Located in Chicago, Illinois Duties and Responsibilities Assist in the assembly and finishing of display products according to job travelers and work instructions Read and follow job travelers, blueprints, and production orders accurately Support floor leadership and senior staff as directed Perform quality checks on completed work to ensure it meets specifications and customer standards Maintain a clean and organized workstation and production floor in accordance with 5S standards Properly handle, stage, and move materials and finished goods throughout the facility Report equipment issues, material shortages, or quality concerns to the Production Manager promptly Record production counts, material usage, and time accurately in the shop management system Assist with inventory counts, receiving, and materials staging as needed Comply with all safety protocols, PPE requirements, and company policies Requirements and Qualifications High school diploma or GED Ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions Basic math skills (measuring, counting, simple calculations) Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods Reliable attendance and strong work ethic Attention to detail and commitment to quality 6+ months of experience in a manufacturing, assembly, or warehouse environment Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, or production equipment Experience using a job management or ERP system Knowledge of basic safety and OSHA standards ABOUT ACCURATE PERSONNEL Accurate Personnel provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local laws.
