Behavioral Health - Clinical Social WorkerLCSW Location: Devens, Massachusetts Schedule: 8:00AM - 5:00PM x 5 Term: 13-week assignment with the potential for extension Pay Rate: $49 - $53/hrAstrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring a LCSW for a temporary assignment in Devens, Massachusetts. These positions are 13-week contracts with the ability to extend.Responsibilities for a LCSW:• Serve as an active participant in the health care team providing direct and indirect care to patients, families, and legal guardians • Provide clinical social work services in partnership with physicians, nurse practitioners, and direct care staff • Administer biopsychosocial assessments for patients with psychiatric illnesses • Develop, implement, and document multidisciplinary treatment plans informed by patient strengths and presenting psychiatric problems • Provide individual and family therapy services • Conduct case management and systems interventions directed towards comprehensive discharge strategies and aftercare planning • Assist with insurance utilization review • Provide liaison services to patients, families/guardians, and outside community agencies and programs for care coordination • Contribute to each patient's treatment plan by helping develop appropriate goals and interventions • Apply advanced knowledge of clinical behavioral health treatment and family system modalities for patients with psychiatric illnesses • Perform risk and safety assessments • Demonstrate understanding of appropriate community support and systems available to patients after discharge • Utilize Electronic Health Record system for documentation • Obtain Child & Adolescent Needs & Strengths (CANS) Certification within 30 days of hire • Float to similar or lower acuity units as needed • Work every other holiday and every other weekend as requiredBenefits for a LCSW:Weekly pay every FridayMedical/Dental/Vision/Life/Pet Insurance401K Retirement Plan (matching)Full-service Credentialing and Corporate Travel TeamReferral Bonus up to $1,500
