Physical Therapist / Outpatient Orthopedics

Location: Northern Nevada, near Minden

Full-Time | Outpatient Orthopedics

A growing orthopedic-focused healthcare organization in Northern Nevada is seeking an experienced Physical Therapist to join its outpatient rehabilitation team. This is a full-time opportunity for a PT who enjoys treating orthopedic and musculoskeletal conditions while working collaboratively with physicians, therapy staff, and other healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and develop individualized physical therapy treatment plans
• Establish functional goals and monitor patient progress
• Provide evidence-based therapeutic exercise and rehabilitation services
• Educate patients and families regarding treatment, exercises, and ongoing care
• Document evaluations, treatments, and outcomes accurately
• Collaborate with physicians and other members of the clinical team
• Supervise and mentor Physical Therapist Assistants and therapy support staff
• Serve as a clinical resource within the therapy department

Minimum Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Physical Therapy or equivalent qualifying PT education
• Current Nevada Physical Therapist license
• 2+ years of outpatient physical therapy experience
• Strong evaluation, treatment-planning, and documentation skills
• Excellent communication and patient-care skills

Preferred

• Outpatient orthopedic experience
• Experience supervising or mentoring PTAs and therapy staff
