Employment Type: Full-Time, Non-Exempt, Hourly

Salary Range: $20.00 – $23.00 per hour, depending on experience

POSITION SUMMARY

We are seeking a dependable and motivated Material Handler to support daily warehouse and material movement activities. This entry-level position is responsible for receiving, organizing, moving, picking, packing, and shipping materials to support warehouse and production operations. This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their career who is organized, reliable, and eager to learn in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

The ideal candidate has a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a willingness to roll up their sleeves to help the team succeed.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Receive, unload, inspect, and organize incoming materials and shipments.

• Pick, pack, ship, stage, and move materials to designated warehouses or production areas.

• Load and unload trucks as needed.

• Verify materials, quantities, part numbers, and inventory locations for accuracy.

• Assist with shipping and receiving activities.

• Maintain accurate inventory and material movement records.

• Use pallet jacks, carts, hand trucks, and other material-handling equipment.

• Assist with cycle counts and physical inventory.

• Maintain clean, organized, and safe warehouse and storage areas.

• Report damaged, missing, or incorrect materials to the supervisor.

• Support warehouse and production teams as needed.

• Follow all company safety procedures and proper material-handling practices.

• Perform other related duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• High school diploma or GED preferred.

• Minimum of 1 year of warehouse, material handling, shipping/receiving, or related experience required.

• Good verbal and written communication skills

• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Outlook and Excel

• Ability to read labels, packing slips, part numbers, and inventory documentation.

• Basic math skills.

• Strong work ethic with dependable attendance and punctuality

• Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Reliable attendance and punctuality.

• Reliable, team-oriented, and willing to learn

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Forklift or pallet jack experience preferred but not required.

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

• Must be able to stand and/or walk for a minimum of 8 hours per shift.

• Ability to frequently bend, stoop, squat, reach, push, pull, and carry materials.

• Ability to safely perform repetitive physical tasks throughout the workday.

• Ability to work in a warehouse/manufacturing environment around moving equipment and varying temperatures.

Work Environment

This position works primarily in a warehouse environment and requires regular interaction with warehouse, production, shipping, and receiving personnel. Employees are expected to follow all required safety procedures and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
