CT/XR Technologist
This is a 13-week contract position.
Location: Portage, IN
Schedule: Nights: 7 PM - 7 AM, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday
Job Description: The CT/XR Technologist will provide imaging services in a 10-bed facility, working primarily in the emergency department and supporting inpatient rehabilitation and other units as needed. The role involves working independently from 11 PM to 7 AM with access to protocol books for all scans and updated protocols in the scanner.
Responsibilities:
- Perform CT and X-ray imaging procedures
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and infection control standards
- Maintain imaging equipment and ensure operational readiness
- Collaborate effectively with the Emergency Department and other staff
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:
- Current ARRT (R)(CT) certification
- BLS certification required
- 1-2 years of experience in CT and XR imaging
- Experience with GE CT Scanner, Philips XR, Vitrea, Merge PACS, and MedRad contrast injector preferred
- Knowledge of Cerner EMR is preferred
