DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIESSet up stations and collect all necessary supplies to prepare for servicePrepare a variety of foods including meat, seafood, vegetables, and cold food itemsPrepare sauces and garnishes for allocated stationCover, label, date, and correctly store all food items as per safe food-handling proceduresInform chef in advance of likely shortagesPrepare dishes to orderSet up sanitizer buckets and towelsConstantly check the equipment on the line to ensure there are no gas leaksTemperature checks of all reach-in and walk-in coolersSet up rubber floor mats at stationTastings with team membersRestock reach-in coolersPrep lunch boxes for oncoming rushesClean line equipmentClean the grillClean the rangeClean the flat topWipe down rice warmersClean underneath equipmentChange foiling lining on top of rangesClean sinks of food debris and sanitizeDisinfect prep area surfacesSweep and mop floorsEmpty and wash sanitizer bucketsOther duties as assignedEDUCATION & EXPERIENCEHigh School/GED or higher education preferred1+ year(s) of experience in high-paced kitchen environment preferredKnowledge in various cooking ingredients preferredFamiliar with the taste of authentic Korean food preferredSKILLS & ABILITIESThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.The employee is occasionally required to stand; climb or balance; and stoop or kneel.
