Amazon Delivery Service Partner
Join SMK Logistics - Delivering Packages and Smiles! SMK Logistics is a Delivery Service Partner (DSP) based in California. We're currently hiring delivery drivers to support our team. We're looking for enthusiastic, reliable, and safety-focused individuals who enjoy being on the road, staying active, and delivering smiles to customers. Position Highlights:
- Anticipated schedule: part-time 3 days per week, 8-10 hours per day including at least one weekend day
- Extra shifts may be available, but not guaranteed
- Opportunity for full-time permanent employment : Drivers may be considered for long-term roles based on performance and business needs (review required)
- Safely deliver 240 - 400 packages per day to homes, apartments, and businesses
- Operate and inspect a delivery vehicle, ensuring it meets safety and cleanliness standards
- Repeatedly load and unload packages up to 50 lbs
- Often tilt, push and slide packages weighing between 50-70 lbs. on and off a hand truck without helper
- Navigate and follow delivery routes using a company-provided device
- Work in all weather conditions: rain, heat, cold, etc.
- Maintain high standards for attendance, performance, and safety
- Support teammates as needed by assisting with additional routes
- Communicate effectively with support team to provide exceptional customer service
- Be at least 21 years old
- Valid non-provisional, unrestricted California driver's license
- Authorized to work in the U.S.
- Ability to lift and carry packages up to 50 lbs
- Willingness to undergo DOT drug screening, DOT physical exam, and successfully complete training
- Prior delivery or customer service experience is a plus, but not required
