Job Summary and Responsibilities Virginia Mason Franciscan Health is seeking a Primary Care Physician for a PRN position at our beautiful, well-established Bonney Lake Clinic. Candidates should be collegial team players with good patient and customer service skills. To be successful in this role, you will be a skilled, BC/BE, and compassionate Family Medicine Primary Care Physician, possessing expertise in diagnosing and managing complex diseases, alongside strong communication abilities. You will also demonstrate a deep commitment to patient-centered care and the capacity to thrive within a collegial and supportive environment. Provide full-spectrum primary care, including preventive care, acute illness treatment, and management of chronic diseases (e.g., diabetes, hypertension) for patients of all ages Deliver wellness examinations, health screenings, and immunizations to support disease prevention Counsel patients on diet, lifestyle choices, and disease management Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests such as laboratory work and imaging Offer guidance, counseling, and education on wellness, disease management, and medication adherence to patients and their families Act as the first point of contact and coordinate care with specialists, nursing staff, and social workers Maintain accurate, timely, and detailed medical records, utilizing EPIC appropriately Provide and document direct treatment for patients, including ordering medications, referrals, and following up on specialist consultations Job Requirements Required Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine Active, unrestricted license in the state of Washington Ability to obtain a DEA with full prescriptive authority needed for the specific practice Strong clinical diagnostic skills in an ambulatory setting Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment Commitment to providing high-quality, compassionate care to all ages of patients Preferred At least one year of Family Medicine Primary Care experience Where You’ll Work Bonney Lake, WA #J-18808-Ljbffr CommonSpirit Health
