We offer exceptional benefits, 401k (with match), eight paid holidays, and a generous PTO accrual that starts right away!/pp*Pay ranges noted are autogenerated by Indeed (or other career sites) and are not Flagships evaluation of pay, which is a consideration of job experience, certifications, etc./ppAdvance your career in oral surgery in a role that allows you to observe, train, and participate with supervision in setting up for minor surgical procedures, assisting in minor procedures, instrument processing, room turnover, and other clinical duties as needed./ppHere are some of the job duties you will perform:/pulliSet up for non-sterile sterile procedures (under supervision) with appropriate instruments, equipment, and supplies./liliAssist surgeon during minor surgical procedures including suctioning, retracting, passing instruments, providing airway support./liliAssist in onboarding and supporting Oral Surgery Assistant I./liliCirculates on surgical procedures, completing necessary entries, paperwork, logs, etc./liliCapture radiographs, take/pour dental impressions, capture intraoral digital scans, remove surgical splints, fit splints, remove sutures, place packs, etc./liliUpdates patient medications and allergies at each patient encounter/liliParticipates in crash cart training to become familiar with emergency medications and supplies./li/ulpTo be considered for this role, you need to have the following qualifications:/pulliHigh school diploma or equivalent/liliCompletion of limited Dental Assisting program, OR 1-2 years experience in general dentistry/oral surgery practice/liliCurrent BLS certification/liliInfection control training/liliSterile processing certification/experience/liliDental Radiography certification/liliSuccessful completion of approved nitrous oxide course/liliIV/Phlebotomy certifcation/liliAnesthesia-related continuing education/li/ulp Or obtained within 90 days of employment/pp Or obtained within one year of employment/p/div
