Must have extensive knowledge of Mechanical Integrity, Pipe Inspection, Vessel Inspection as well as UT Fitness Inspections. Conduct inspections and tests on products and materials to ensure compliance with quality standards. Document and report inspection outcomes by completing detailed reports and paperwork for all inspections. Identify and monitor defects and discrepancies to support continuous improvement efforts. Collaborate with production and engineering teams to ensure quality standards are maintained throughout the manufacturing process. Use precision measuring instruments and testing equipment to verify product dimensions and performance. Perform routine maintenance on testing and inspection equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability. Train and guide production staff in quality control procedures and protocols. Analyze test data and communicate findings to relevant departments for process improvements. Interpret and apply quality assurance standards, methodologies, and regulations. State Texas Job Description QAQC Qualifications & Skills Bachelor’s degree in quality assurance, Engineering, or related field. Certification in Quality Control or Quality Assurance (e.g., ASQ certification). Proficient in the use of quality inspection tools and software. Experience with statistical process control and other QA methodologies. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate effectively. Experience in a similar quality assurance role within the industry. Knowledge of industry-specific quality standards and regulations. Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement techniques. High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree or technical certification preferred. Proven experience as a Quality Assurance Technician or similar role. Understanding of quality control procedures and relevant legal standards. Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel for data analysis and reporting. Basic knowledge of health and safety regulations. Excellent attention to detail and strong statistical analysis skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team to meet deadlines. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to use precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges. Willingness to work flexible hours if necessary.
