PDS Strategic Sourcing Lead

What this job involves The PDS Strategic Sourcing Lead focuses on launching, developing, and maturing a new Project Delivery Services program within an Integrated Facilities Management environment for a dedicated client. The role combines direct accountability for leading a high‑performing Sourcing and Procurement team with the strategic responsibility of building a scalable PDS program from the ground up. Responsibilities include designing processes, establishing sourcing standards, creating governance frameworks, developing sourcing playbooks for capital and project‑related services, and establishing best practices for contractor selection, evaluation, contracting, and performance management. The position requires executive presence to secure a seat at senior stakeholder meetings, proactively engage in project planning discussions to ensure procurement involvement occurs at the earliest stages, and act as a trusted advisor to stakeholders requiring procurement expertise. The role will independently manage complex PDS RFIs, RFPs, and RFQs from initiation through award and transition; develop sourcing strategies and evaluation frameworks; lead cross‑functional scoring and supplier selection processes; recruit, develop, and retain top sourcing and procurement talent; manage the Third Party Supplier Performance Management Program; and oversee annual sourcing plan development and execution. What your day-to-day will look like Lead the launch and development of the Project Delivery Services procurement program, creating standardized processes, governance frameworks, and sourcing playbooks. Act as a trusted advisor to stakeholders, proactively engaging in early procurement involvement and providing commercial guidance on scope and risk mitigation. Independently manage complex PDS RFIs, RFPs, and RFQs, develop sourcing strategies, lead cross‑functional scoring, and ensure full documentation and governance compliance. Recruit, develop, and retain top sourcing and procurement talent, supporting career development through mentoring and visible leadership. Manage the Third Party Supplier Performance Management Program, develop scorecards, review results with subcontractors, and deliver quarterly reports. Oversee annual sourcing plan development, benchmarking, risk identification, and strategy recommendations. Ensure alignment of the client sourcing plan with objectives, leading client meetings and strategy sessions. Present program strategy, sourcing recommendations, and outcomes to senior leadership and represent procurement in capital governance forums. Establish contracting standards, support negotiation of agreements, implement risk assessment practices, and create visibility into project spend. Own sourcing compliance and controls, including contract and COI compliance, RFx process improvements, diverse spend, and procurement playbook adherence. Required qualifications 8+ years of strategic sourcing experience for services or indirect categories related to facilities services with demonstrated experience in Project Delivery Services procurement. Proven people management experience. Proven ability to independently lead large‑scale RFx processes. Strong stakeholder management skills in complex environments. Proficiency in MS applications including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Preferred qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Business or Supply Chain Management. MBA. Experience building or maturing procurement programs. Estimated compensation for this position: 100,600.00 - 137,000.00 USD per year. This range is an estimate; final compensation packages are determined by various considerations including candidate qualifications, location, market conditions, and internal considerations.
