divh2Restoration Inventory Specialist/h2pThe Restoration Inventory Specialist plays a vital role in SERVPROs restoration and contents division. This position involves packing, moving, transporting, and storing customer belongings safely and efficiently during property restoration or relocation projects. The technician ensures items are handled with the same level of care as top moving companies while adhering to SERVPROs restoration standards./ph3Key Responsibilities/h3ulliContents Handling Inventory/liliConduct detailed inventories of customer belongings using SERVPRO software or digital tracking systems./liliPack and wrap items using appropriate materials such as bubble wrap, shrink wrap, and specialty crates./liliDisassemble and reassemble furniture and appliances as required./liliIdentify and document damaged or non-salvageable items./liliLabel, tag, and photograph items to maintain clear chain-of-custody records./li/ululliLoading, Transport, and Delivery/liliSafely load and unload contents using professional moving techniques and tools (dollies, straps, lifts)./liliDrive SERVPRO vehicles to and from job sites when authorized./liliPlace items in designated locations per job notes or customer instruction./liliInspect items upon delivery for damage or discrepancies./li/ululliWarehouse / Storage Management/liliMove packed contents into or out of storage facilities./liliMaintain an organized warehouse with labeled inventory sections./liliPerform quality checks and assist in content cleaning or deodorization when required./li/ululliCustomer Service/liliCommunicate clearly with customers about packing and moving processes./liliProvide professional, respectful service in clients homes or businesses./liliMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment./li/ululliSafety Equipment Maintenance/liliFollow all SERVPRO safety guidelines for lifting, PPE use, and equipment operation./liliInspect and maintain moving tools and company vehicles./liliReport hazards, damages, or unsafe conditions promptly./li/ululliAdditional Duties/liliAssist restoration teams with site cleanup or equipment setup when necessary./liliParticipate in after-hours or emergency response situations./liliSupport team training and share best practices in packing/moving efficiency./li/ulh3Requirements/h3ulliHigh school diploma or equivalent./lili1+ years of experience in moving, restoration, or warehouse environments preferred./liliAbility to lift and move 50+ lbs safely and repeatedly./liliValid drivers license (CDL preferred for larger trucks)./liliStrong attention to detail and communication skills./liliProfessional appearance and positive, customer-focused attitude./li/ulh3Working Conditions/h3ulliFast-paced environment with physical labor./liliExposure to varying job sites and weather conditions./liliFlexible schedule; occasional evenings, weekends, and emergency shifts./li/ulh3Performance Metrics/h3ulliAccuracy in inventory and documentation./liliSafe and damage-free transport of items./liliCustomer satisfaction ratings./liliTeam collaboration and reliability./liliCompliance with SERVPRO quality and safety standards./li/ulpCompensation: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour/p/div
