Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour | Monday - Friday 8:00a-4:30p

A growing financial institution is seeking a detail-oriented Funding Specialist to join its Indirect Lending Department. This position plays a key role in reviewing, validating, and funding retail installment contracts submitted through a network of dealership partners. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.


Responsibilities:
• R eview and process loan funding packages for accuracy and completeness
• Verify funding conditions, documentation, and underwriting requirements
• Communicate with dealers, customers, and internal departments to resolve discrepancies
• Process loan funding transactions and disburse funds accurately
• Maintain detailed loan records and audit documentation
• Monitor funding pipelines and prioritize transactions to meet deadlines
• Respond to customer and dealer inquiries regarding loan documentation and account information
• Manage inbound calls and email communications while providing outstanding customer service
• Perform high-volume data entry with a high degree of accuracy
• Support departmental goals through cross-training and process improvement initiatives
Qualifications:
• A ssociate's or Bachelor's Degree preferred; High School Diploma or GED required
• Minimum two years of banking, lending, financial services, or related administrative experience preferred
• Consumer lending or loan servicing experience is a plus
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and business computer systems
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
