We're looking for a detail-oriented, forward-thinking designer to help shape the future of commercial plumbing systems using AutoCAD and Revit.
What You'll Do
- Create and layout engineering drawings for Plumbing and Fire Protection systems
- Perform complete calculations for water supply, storm drainage, and equipment sizing
- Design sanitary waste and vent systems, storm water, domestic water, and natural gas distribution
- Select and specify plumbing fixtures, specialties, and equipment
- Design and coordinate fire protection systems and equipment
- Collaborate with project teams and contribute to BIM coordination (if applicable)
Required:
- Associate's degree or technical drafting certification
- 7+ years of experience designing plumbing systems for commercial projects
- Strong knowledge of building codes and engineering design practices
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit
- BIM Coordination experience (Navisworks, BIM 360/ACC)
- Experience working with large commercial projects
- Work with one of the Southeast's largest independent plumbing contractors
