Your Responsibilities

• Performing thorough patient assessments, ordering lab tests, and crafting individualized treatment plans.
• Diagnosing and managing acute, episodic, or chronic health conditions, in collaboration with physicians or independently, depending on your credentials.
• Educating patients and their families about preventive care, wellness, and management of chronic illnesses.
• Prescribing medication and therapeutic interventions within your practice scope.
• Engaging in patient follow-ups and chronic care management.

Education Credentials

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP).
• Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.

Essential Certifications

• Valid Nurse Practitioner license in the state of New York.
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP, or ANCC) or equivalent specialty.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or ability to obtain within 90 days).
