Overview Orbital Analyst – Aurora, CO at ICR, Inc. This role focuses on orbit determination, ephemeris generation, and related orbital analysis. Base pay range $78,853.00/yr - $236,579.00/yr Location Aurora, CO Essential Duties And Responsibilities Perform orbit determination, ephemeris generation, and orbital position uncertainty estimates Generate simulations to validate the accuracy of various orbital simulations and orbit determination techniques Development in Python, Shell scripting Contribute to development of new and improved mission capabilities Engage customers for product demonstrations and analysis products and effectively communicate results Required Skills And Qualifications Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field Active Top Secret security clearance with SSBI and SCI access Demonstrated experience with orbit determination and astrodynamics techniques Familiarity with standard astrodynamics tools including STK/Astrogator and/or MATLAB Experience with Linux operating system Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills Good organization, decision making, and verbal and written communication skills High level of self-initiative and self-motivation with the ability to work under minimal supervision Ability to work effectively in small team settings to solve complex problems Compensation and Benefits This position offers a comprehensive benefits package that includes company equity, retirement plan, company-paid health care benefits, flexible paid time off policy, and potential for a raise and bonus during the year.
