MedicalWorx is hiring for a TEMP Medical Assistant for a busy Bariatric office in Plano, TX!
START IMMEDIATELY!!
Schedule: Monday- 8:30-5; Tuesday-Friday 8:30-4; Saturday (1 per month) 8:30-1:30
Responsibilities:
* Phone triage to access patient needs when scheduling appointments and tests.
* Perform EKGs.
* Clean and stock exam rooms.
* Review patient medical records for accuracy and completeness.
* Refill prescriptions.
* Assist physician in exam room.
* Maintain and promote HIPAA and OSHA compliance.
* Other assigned duties as needed.
Requirements:
* Completion of approved medical assistant training program with proof of current certification.
* Must have a high school diploma or a GED.
* Must have a minimum of 1 year recent on the job experience.
