Test Architect - Commercial Insurance

Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced Test Architect to lead quality engineering and test automation initiatives for enterprise-scale commercial insurance applications. The ideal candidate will be responsible for defining comprehensive testing strategies, designing scalable automation frameworks, and driving quality engineering practices across complex application ecosystems. This role requires strong technical expertise, architectural understanding, and the ability to collaborate with development, QA, and DevOps teams to improve software quality and delivery efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and implement end-to-end test strategies and quality engineering architecture for enterprise applications.
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable, reusable, and robust test automation frameworks.
• Lead automation initiatives across UI, API, integration, mobile, database, and cloud-based applications.
• Establish standardized testing methodologies, automation practices, and quality engineering guidelines.
• Collaborate with software architects, developers, QA engineers, and DevOps teams to enhance test coverage and software reliability.
• Provide technical leadership in resolving complex testing challenges and improving overall testing efficiency.
• Integrate automated testing solutions into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous testing and faster release cycles.
• Evaluate and recommend appropriate testing tools, frameworks, and technologies based on project requirements.
• Identify opportunities to optimize testing processes, reduce manual effort, and improve defect prevention.
• Drive continuous improvement in test automation maturity, code quality, and release readiness.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Extensive experience in test architecture, quality engineering, and enterprise-level test automation.
• Strong understanding of application architecture, APIs, UI technologies, system integrations, databases, and cloud environments.
• Proven experience designing and implementing enterprise-scale automation frameworks.
• Strong expertise in test strategy, automation architecture, and end-to-end testing methodologies.
• Experience working with distributed applications and complex system integrations.
• Proficiency in debugging, root cause analysis, and solving complex technical problems.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional engineering, architecture, QA, and DevOps teams.
• Good understanding of Agile methodologies, DevOps practices, and CI/CD processes.
• Strong communication, technical leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
