This major healthcare system operates a 600+ bed facility that serves as both a Level II Adult Trauma Center and Level II Pediatric Trauma Center. The facility is part of a well‑established network providing comprehensive neurosurgical services to adult and pediatric patients throughout the region.

Advanced Practice (PA) - Physician Assistant - Neurosurgery
Job Details
- Work with a well‑established, high volume neurosurgery practice alongside 5 neurosurgeons and 4 advanced practice providers
- Provide first assist services for adult and pediatric neurosurgical patients
- Inpatient rounding responsibilities with call coverage
- Call rotation among PAs with 1:4/5 weekend call responsibility and 1:4/5 night call responsibility
- Full‑time position requiring 40 hours per week
- Schedule options include Monday‑Friday with weekend call or 7 on/7 off rotation
- Must have active Florida license and current board certification
- Minimum 2 years of experience as an advanced practice provider in Neurosurgery OR required
- ACLS and BLS certifications required
- Credentialing timeframe of 30-60 days
- Must be able to work a minimum of two weeks per month
- Nearest airport is Tampa International
Compensation
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
