Take the first step toward growing your career by joining us. Responsibilities Assists physician during endoscopy procedures using aseptic technique. Ensures set-up of procedure with supplies and equipment. Uses aseptic technique cleans, disinfects and sterilizes all equipment, scopes and instruments. Assists nursing personnel with patient care under their supervision. Restocks supplies in cleaning room, procedure rooms and traveling carts. Assists with patient transport as needed. Qualifications Basic familiarity with medical terminology is preferred. Requires certification in Basic Life Support Provider within six months of employment. A basic understanding of concepts of microbiology, human anatomy and physiology is preferred. A working knowledge of the following equipment is preferred: fiberoptic and video endoscopy systems, automatic sterilizing systems, blood pressure, cardiac and pulse oximeter monitors, suction and oxygen set-ups, wheelchairs and stretchers and computers.
