Description
  • Conduct assessments for patients across all age groups, employing standardized tools and observational methods.
  • Craft individualized therapy plans that meet both immediate and long-standing communication, cognitive, or swallowing objectives.
  • Deliver targeted speech therapy focusing on communication, language fluency, voice, and swallowing capabilities.
  • Collaborate seamlessly with physical therapists, occupational therapists, medical professionals, caregivers, and families to form integrated care approaches.
  • Provide guidance and support to patients and their families, ensuring they make progress outside of therapy sessions.
  • Occasionally carry out inpatient evaluations and therapeutic interventions, guaranteeing consistent care throughout each patient's journey.
  • Keep precise and timely documentation that adheres to local, state, and national regulations.
  • Engage in professional development and peer interaction to stay abreast of the latest advancements in your field.
Education
  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
  • Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if not yet ASHA-certified.
Certifications
  • State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist .
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of employment.

  • Expertise in evidence-based treatment strategies for all demographics, emphasizing an understanding of both developmental and acquired speech, language, and swallowing disorders.
