Cardiac Nuclear Medicine Technologist (PRN)

PRN | Outpatient Cardiology

The Cardiovascular Center of Florida is seeking an experienced Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our growing outpatient cardiovascular imaging team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Nuclear Medicine Tech who enjoys working in a collaborative, patient-focused cardiology environment with consistent scheduling and advanced cardiovascular imaging exposure.

Responsibilities

• Perform cardiac nuclear medicine imaging procedures in accordance with physician orders and imaging protocols
• Support nuclear stress testing and myocardial perfusion imaging workflows
• Prepare and educate patients for imaging procedures
• Review images for quality and completeness prior to physician interpretation
• Collaborate closely with physicians, nursing staff, and clinical teams
• Maintain accurate documentation within EMR and PACS systems
• Ensure compliance with patient safety, radiation safety, and infection prevention standards

Requirements:

Qualifications

• Current CNMT or ARRT(N) certification required
• Active BLS certification required
• Minimum 1–2 years of nuclear medicine experience preferred
• Cardiology or cardiac stress testing experience strongly preferred
• Experience in outpatient imaging or cardiology settings preferred
• CT certification is a plus
• Strong communication and patient care skills
