Certifications: NRP Certification, CRT or RRT Credential, BLS, NRP

Must-Have: High School and College diplomas/transcripts required

Description: Requirements include an Ohio Respiratory Therapy License. NRP Certification is required. Both CRT or RRT Credential is necessary. A minimum of 2 years of experience is required. NICU experience is required. High School and College diplomas and transcripts are needed. Candidates must have a valid license in hand. Experience preferred includes knowledge of Nitric Oxide (iNO) therapy. Experience with Oscillator Ventilation is preferred. NAVA and Bubble CPAP experience is desired. High-Flow Nasal Cannula experience is an advantage. Neonatal Ventilator Management is preferred. Experience with High-Risk Deliveries is a plus. Skills necessary for this role include the ability to assist in high-risk delivery. Knowledge of Bubble CPAP, CPAP, and CPAP/Nasal CPAP/BIPAP is important. Experience with High Frequency Oscillator ventilation is required. Candidates should be able to assist with intubation. Neonatal transport skills (inter-departmental) are desired. Experience in NICU settings is essential. Candidates should have experience with Oscillating Ventilators. Patient transport skills (inter-departmental and ambulance transport) are expected. Pressure/Volume Ventilator knowledge is beneficial. The patient age group will focus on neonates. The daily census is expected to be around 40 patients. The unit comprises approximately 60 rooms and 50 beds. Interdisciplinary support will be available from Respiratory Services. Patient diagnoses include level 3 NICU cases. Special procedures and equipment will include Nitric, Oscillator, NAVA, Bubble, and high flow nasal cannula technologies. Travel compliance requirements are strict, with urgency during the credentialing process. Candidates must complete the necessary credentialing tasks promptly.
