Job Description
ECU Health Physicians and ECU Health Roanoke Chowan Hospital located in Ahoskie, NC are seeking a B/C Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide patient care in their Emergency Department.


Highlights include:
• Employment by ECU Health Physicians
• Privileges of ECU Health Roanoke Chowan Hospital, a 114-bed community hospital
• 15-bed Emergency Department
• Emergency Medicine Provider team includes 4 physicians and 4 Advanced Practice Providers
• 24-hour hospitalist and radiology coverage
• Telestroke
• (Twelve) 12-hour shifts per month; day shift 9am-9pm and evening shift 12pm-12am
• Strong air and ground support to immediately transfer patients
• Full scope of services provided at hospital including General Surgery, OBGYN, Orthopedics, Primary Care, Oncology, Behavioral Health, Neurology, Cardiology, and Pain Management
• System-wide integrated EMR-EPIC
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
