Cloud Native Software Engineer

Telework: None Basic Requirements 5 years of experience as a software engineer Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline 2 additional years of experience as a software engineer may be substituted for a degree Job Description The Software Engineer shall be responsible for collaborating with Product Owners, System Engineers, and Project Software Engineers to design, develop, test, troubleshoot, and sustain a mission-focused enterprise web application deployed in a containerized Kubernetes Linux environment. Required Experience Experience using the Linux CLI and Tool Suite Experience developing Bash/Python scripts Experience developing with Python in a Linux environment Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker Familiar with container orchestration technologies such as Kubernetes Experience creating Helm Charts to deploy containerized services on Kubernetes Experience with SQL technologies such as MySQL Experience with designing and implementing REST interfaces Experience with CI/CD principles, methodologies, and tools such as GitLab CI Experience with Git Source Control System Desired Experience Experience with the Django Web framework Experience with the Celery Task Scheduler Experience with NGINX Experience with the Atlassian Suite of Tools such as Jira and Confluence Experience with AI Development Tools such as Claude Code Salary: $205,000 - $215,000 annually Excellent benefits package including 25 days PTO, 11 paid holidays, 100% employer-paid healthcare for employees and dependents – available day 1, 8% 401(k) employer match – immediate vesting.
